Since deciding I no longer wished to work in the field I trained in, which was as a Speech Language Pathologist, I had kind of been in limbo trying to figure out what came next for me. If you were to ask me what I wanted to do, I would tell you I wanted to own a General Store on a a lake in North Carolina where I sold and drank coffee with regulars while running a general merchandise store that included funny t-shirts. Side note, in this dream I also rented kayaks and paddle boards for people to use on my imaginary lake and I myself would paddle board around at lunch time. 
Life has me in NJ right now and one day I realized that even though I wasn't going to have my general store just yet...I could start selling funny t-shirts. I realized instead of waiting around for the next thing to happen, it was time to make something happen.  No need to be stuck in limbo! Whereas previously all of my continuing education revolved around disorders, new therapies, etc., I am learning a whole new vernacular as well as skill sets! Here's to making a difference in my own life! This month we are also selling our Make a Difference t-shirt to help raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS)! For every Make a Difference shirt sold we will pay forward $5 to BBBS. Head on over to our Donation Apparel and Check it out. New colors are also available!Â
